Darfur Dies While Elites Thrive in Sudan
Here is another reason why the U.S. should not stand idly by while genocide is committed in Darfur. This article from the times shows what is going on in Khartoum in the east of Sudan where the government and its elites are having a good 'ole time while committing genocide in the west.

On your current post - nations with such wide disparities between have's and have-not's are challenges to the world community. When I think about how precious the rule of law is to me, I realize again how much I love what the United States is supposed to stand for. And I hate it when we stray.
